Minneapolis - Hale, Page, Diamond Lake

Welcome to the HALE, PAGE, AND DIAMOND LAKE Neighborhoods of Minneapolis

The neighborhoods of Hale, Page, and Diamond Lake (HPDL) are bordered on the West by Interstate 35W, to the North by Minnehaha Creek, to the East by Cedar Ave, and to the South by MN Highway 62.

HPDL neighborhoods contain beautiful residential tree-lined streets of Tudor, Colonial, and Rambler style homes.  These neighborhoods are very conveniently located with easy access to a number of commercial and recreational areas within walking distance.  Nature in an urban setting is what really makes this part of town special with all its parks, green spaces, and walking/biking paths surrounding the bodies of water, including Diamond Lake, Minnehaha Creek, and Lake Nokomis.

Another thing that attracts people to the HPDL neighborhoods are the highly regarded elementary and middle schools designated to the area: Minneapolis public elementary school (Hale), parochial K-8 (Our Lady of Peace), and Field Middle School.

If you’re still not convinced this community has enough to offer, consider these two factors that should put you over the edge: grocery stores and restaurants nearby!  HPDL offers two locally owned grocery stores: Kowalski’s Market, Target and Bergan’s SuperValu Foods all within walking distance.  As for restaurants, the offerings range from 5/8 Club (birthplace of the “Juicy Lucy” cheeseburger) to upscale dining at First Course to Italian/Pizza at Fat Lorenzo’s.  There are just so many reasons to love this part of town, come see for yourself!
