Minneapolis - Lynnhurst
Welcome to the Lynnhurst Neighborhood of Minneapolis
Lynnhurst is bordered on the West by Penn Ave, to the North by 46th St, to the East by Lyndale Ave, and to the South by 54th St.
The Lynnhurst neighborhood embodies all the elements that make "The City of Lakes" so great. With Minnehaha Creek running through the neighborhood and Lake Harriet forming part of the northern boundary, Lynnhurst offers some wonderful opportunities to get out and enjoy the urban outdoors!
The majority of houses in Lynnhurst were built before 1940 and range from compact bungalows to large, architect-designed dwellings.
Located within Lynnhurst are Burroughs Community School, Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, and Temple Shir Tikvah. Lynnhurst Park is a major recreational feature of the neighborhood with ball fields and courts and the Lynnhurst Community Center houses meeting rooms and a gymnasium.
